What’s this all about?

Hello, welcome and thanks for dropping by. I’m Steve Morris, creative type and avid devourer of culture in many forms. You like music right? Me too. I like the sort of thing you’ll hear on BBC 6Music, the sort of thing you might read about on Pitchfork, and the sort of things you might see at a festival like Latitude. Or Glastonbury. Or Reading. But not Creamfields. Broadly speaking that might be termed ‘alternative’ when that phrase actually meant something. But age has given me eclectic tastes, so these days I’m as likely to listen to Van Morrison (Astral Weeks v Moondance?) as I am to War on Drugs. So that’s the sort of thing you’ll find me riffing about here – and just maybe some other stuff too.
